Newberg Irrigation, Inc. was established in 1973 with branches in Tampa/St. Petersburg and Orlando Florida. Our reputation as a respected contractor in the irrigation industry continues to grow as a result of three generations of experience and the high standards we have maintained. Irrigation construction is a labor intensive trade that requires employees be properly trained in the fundamentals as well as highly technical equipment. The Newberg Irrigation workforce has completed numerous certification courses and extensive on the job training programs. Ron Newberg, Owner

RON NEWBERG has been designing, constructing and managing large irrigation projects for over 37 years. His goal of creating the best irrigation system for each unique project has made him one of the most sought after professionals in the irrigation industry. Ron’s experience with innovative product applications has produced many efficient, low maintenance systems, which conserve our precious water resources. Operating a high profile irrigation company brings major industry manufactures, developers and government agencies to Ron for his participation, insight, and advice.

Joel Newberg

JOEL NEWBERG has been a respected partner in the irrigation industry for over forty years. During that time he has had a major influence in the planning, construction and the successful completion of many major irrigation projects. He has seen the industries many changes and technological advancements and applies this knowledge uniquely to each project. He has been called on as an industry spokesman and has appeared on TV and seminars. He continues to stay in the forefront of the industry by attending numerous continuing education seminars and workshops earning IA and manufacturers certifications.

Jon Newberg

JON NEWBERG's passion for the family irrigation business has provided him with the opportunity to experience the operations from the ground up. For the past 12 years Jon has worked as an installer, estimator, field superintendent and project manager.

As a native of West Central Florida Jon attended high school and St. Petersburg College studying business management. His goal is to continue the family tradition by offering innovative irrigation design, professional installation, and environmentally friendly water management.

Diane Metcalf, Controller

Diane Metcalf is a trusted and integral part of the Newberg Irrigation work environment. As the company controller Diane is excellent at performing the essential tasks associated with a specialty construction firm. Her ability to take on multiple roles in accounting and human relations is highlighted by Diane’s outstanding performance with accounts receivable, cash flow and documentation. Diane Metcalf’s twelve years of service at Newberg Irrigation has enabled the company to manage through the ups and downs of the construction industry staying profitable and sound.
